Pizza

Everyone loves a pizza. Whether it be store bought on the way home from a night out or delivered to your home, using Lebanese bread, pre-made bought or home made base with what ever topping(s) takes your fancy, at night alone, weekend lunch with friends, done in the oven or in a wood fired oven, everyone loves a pizza.
Most of us would have had pizza in a variety of ways with all of us having our preference. The ultimate pizza would be a personal choice and debatable. For me, it would be wood fired, home made medium crust base with a thin smear of home made pizza sauce, topped with Jamon Iberico, Basil and Buffalo Mozzarella while sitting in a village in Italy.
Until recently, we have used store bought bases with a brand called Bazzar being preferred. I now like to make my own. There are many recipes available with all of them being the best. They are all great if the recipe is followed correctly.
As for the topping, many years ago, we would prepare and lay out bowls of many ingredients so our visitors could have whatever they wanted. There was red capsicum, green capsicum, onions, mushrooms, ham, cabanossi, peperoni, anchovies, olives, pineapple, mozzarella, and cheddar. We would pile on everything. More is best? As enjoyable as it was at the time I now go by the adage that less is more.
